Well, then call him "Bernie Bear" and give him a straw hat or something.
(I had an idea for an incontinent version of the Berenstain Bears called "The Embarrasing Stain Bears!")
Oh, yeah! Nice drawings, BTW. I like the slouchy pose and the feeling of weight you've achieved. Do you have a project in mind for "Bernie" or were you just drawing for the sheer joy of it?

I was listening to a song from called "slouching" from the Hal Roach comedies and a tired bear walking popped into my head. I'm going to time it out and try and animate a walk cycle with this fuzzy guy.

Yeah! Let's see another pencil test. A bear lumbering along to a LeRoy Shields tune would be really cool.
